Our guide Ahmed was just wonderful; he made the trip for us. He was so knowledgeable that he knew exactly how to organise the trip to best advantage and where to go considering everything was closed for Ramadan!! And he gave up a lot of his valuable festival time at home with his family for us during such an important period. He was an expert on history - both ancient and recent, and he brought the Casbah alive to us with stories about its history and what had occurred there more recently. He had a brilliant personality, was fun and couldn't do enough for us - to e highly recommended and thank you!

Best Time to Visit

The best times to visit Algeria are in the spring and autumn. In the summer all parts, but especially the desert, can be extremely hot, and in the winter the coastal region is wet and cold.
