India – Pushkar
If you want to tour Pushka when you are visiting Rajasthan, then the time to visit is during the famous annual camel fair.
This takes place over seven days in autumn, when the Hindu calendar marking Kartika Purnima, also known as Deva-Diwali, the festival of lights of the gods. The exact date can vary but is usually in October or November.
If you can’t make it for the fair, don’t worry as the city has plenty to occupy the intrepid traveller. Take a few days of your holiday and spend time wandering the streets and explore its Brahma temple, lake, ghats and bazaar.
