Rajasthan is India’s most popular state for inbound tourists and Jaipur is the renowned capital of Rajasthan.
The most famous of Jaipur’s landmarks is the Old City or what is more commonly known as the ‘Pink City. It was in 1876 when the Prince of Wales visited India on a tour that the Pink City got its name. The colour pink is symbolic of hospitality, and so the Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink!
When you visit Rajasthan, the places to visit in Jaipur include the Amber Palace, the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds.
