What do our clients think of our small group adventure holidays?

Our Guide, Raluca, was terrific. Warm, intelligent, communicative, well informed and generally delightful..The cooking was delicious and the rooms in the village home stays were very comfortable and rather delightful.

It was a well coordinated trip - and certainly met all of my expectations. Our guide in Romania was excellent; brilliant knowledge of his country which he willing shared; a delightful young man considerate, appeared to be very comfortable with a group of ladies almost twice his age; and extremely thoughtful always anticipating the needs of the group. It was his contribution which made the trip so memorable.

Andrei was excellent and contributed enormously to success of trip. We got to places that we wouldn't have done on our own. The itinery was excellent and in fact I chose trip because this was most comprehensive on market in UK. It was a good mix of different places, areas and experiences.

There is no doubt that the best part of our holiday was that we were fortunate to have Andrei as our guide. He was fantastic and always went that bit extra to make what is a great tour into a fantastic tour. He was friendly, efficient, extremely knowledgeable and was proud to be Romanian so that journeying through the country was a delight. Consequently, there were too many highlights for us to single out any one experience as the most memorable. Every day was memorable and for all the right reasons. However, if forced to name one best attribute of the holiday as the most memorable, it would have to be the home stays and the opportunities it offers to meet the "real" Romanians and some very interesting fellow travellers. Also, don't be deterred by the prospect of rural home stays. They are a great enhancement to the overall Romanian experience.

Very good trip. Andrei and Adina excellent young guides. Accommodation was good, especially the Trandafir family's Pension Felicia in Sucevita, very pleasant and highly recommended.

Philip Cokkinos, Greece

Our highlight was the time spent in the delta - so much nicer to stay in the village and really get a feel for life here.

Richard Bell, UK

We would like to extend a special thanks to Adina Camara, our guide during our holiday. She was thoroughly charming and professional, always going the extra mile for us whether it be tracking down custodians in order to open up churches, arranging special events or securing hotel upgrades. Her insights into the life and culture of Romania were particularly valued.

The first time I have travelled in a small organised group. it was an unbelievable experience. I feel that I have learnt so much about Romania, seen and stayed in places I would never have found by myself. A truly great holiday enhanced by a guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country, culture and history.

I thought the trip to Romania and Moldova was wonderful. Regarding the guides, both Raluca and Victoria were wonderful...absolutely top notch. Could not have been better.
