Starting in Dhaka head to the north of the country to explore river life on the chars as well as the wealth of temples and monuments that bear witness to Bangladesh's fascinating history. From here, our group heads to the mangrove forests of the Sundarbans, home to tigers and other wildlife. We then continue to the east, visiting the region around Sylhet, close to the Indian border, as well as picturesque tea growing regions around Srimongal - one of the prettiest parts of Bangladesh with intriguing wildlife, unspoilt forests and remote tribal communities. A fascinating journey that challenges any preconceptions you might have had about this part of the world.
