Our popular Mozambique Discovery tour offers the perfect mix of a relaxing stay on Bazaruto Island, in the heart of the archipelago combined with a stay in the coastal town of Inhambane. The 17 year civil war in Mozambique has drastically reduced the once prolific herds of wildlife in its national parks and reserves. However the Bazaruto Archipelago has not been affected. It is home to over 80% of all marine fish families of the Indo-Pacific, with resident Mike and Southern right whales found in the surrounding seas. Common, spinner and bottlenose dolphins as well as the highly endangered dugong resides in the archipelago's waters.

Boasting tree lined streets and elegant Portuguese architecture Inhambane reminds us of the once prosperous past based on the trade of gold, ivory and slaves. Our final leg of this perfect introduction to what many say is the next ‘hot’ destination is Maputo. This once great capital has much to offer the visitor with museums, arts, crafts and fish markets. It is just a ferry ride to Catembe, home to yet more stunning beaches. The nightlife is not to be missed with a wide variety of restaurants and clubs with music to suit all tastes.
